Invicta Upper Voices
Matt graduated from the University of Kent in 2014 having read International Business. Whilst studying at Kent, he was the student conductor of the University Chamber Choir and was also Musical Director for the University Musical Theatre Society. Matt sang and continues to sing with the University of Kent Chorus and previously established and conducted the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Workplace Choir. He now works at Morgan Stanley and conducts Invicta Voices and Invicta Upper Voices. After a hugely successful concert on Saturday 25 February 2017 Matt is looking forward to Invicta Upper Voices next performance alongside Invicta Voices at St Gabriel's Pimlico on Saturday 15th July 2017.
Ben de Souza
Ben de Souza has a wealth of choral singing experience and studies singing privately with Alexander Ashworth. He sang for a number of years with the award-winning Taplow Youth Choir under the direction of Gillian Dibden MBE and has worked with several of the top names in British choral music including Paul McCreesh & the Gabrieli Concsort (with whom he recorded Mendelssohn’s Elijah on Red Lion Records), Ben Parry, Jeremy Summerly and Greg Beardsell. Ben’s singing has taken him all over the UK and Europe and has allowed him to sing in some of the most prestigious choral music venues in the world including La Basilica di San Marco (Venice), Barcelona Cathedral, Montserrat Monastery, St George’s Chapel & the Chapel Royal (Windsor), Southwark Cathedral, and the Royal Albert Hall, amongst others. Ben is now making tracks in choral conducting and choir training and recently took up the post of joint conductor of Invicta Upper Voices, while he also works with the choir of All Souls, Langham Place. Ben juggles his many choral commitments with his studies as a classical accordionist at the Royal Academy of Music and a busy teaching and playing career.
